Ingredients: 4 oz. of thawed “The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley Scarlet Orange” concentrate, 8 oz. premium tequila, 7 oz. triple sec, 6 oz. sweet and sour mix, and 3 tbsp granulated sugar.
The blood orange with its sweet deep red-colored flesh was most likely the result of a mutation that occurred in 17th century Sicily. Today blood oranges are common in Mediterranean cuisine. In most varieties of blood oranges, even the pulp and skin are slightly less sweet and more bitter than in other orange varieties.
