Espresso Martini: The Perfect Coffee Cocktail for Any Occasion

The Espresso Martini is a bold and sophisticated cocktail that combines the rich intensity of espresso with the smooth kick of vodka and coffee liqueur. Whether you’re looking for a chic after-dinner drink or a late-night pick-me-up, this modern classic delivers the perfect balance of flavor and energy.

Invented in the 1980s by legendary bartender Dick Bradsell, the Espresso Martini has become a go-to cocktail for coffee lovers and cocktail enthusiasts alike. It’s typically made with freshly brewed espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa), shaken with ice and served in a chilled martini glass with a signature garnish of three espresso beans.

Why the Espresso Martini is a favorite:

  • Bold coffee flavor: A must-try for espresso lovers.
  • Elegant presentation: A stylish cocktail for dinner parties and upscale events.
  • Energizing kick: The caffeine content makes it ideal for late-night sipping.

This coffee cocktail is a staple on menus around the world and a favorite at home for anyone who wants a smooth, slightly sweet, and perfectly caffeinated cocktail. Serve it with dessert or enjoy it as a nightcap that keeps the evening going.
