Seriously, this is a refreshing cocktail after being out in the Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas heat for the afternoon. The key here is to use a light beer. And I don’t mean low in calories. The lighter the yellow hue of the beer, the better. Make it a larger or a pilsner.

And for the tequila? Pick your favorite but you don’t need a high-end or expensive one. The taste of the tequila will be smothered by the beer.

Beer and Ale – Cocktail

Ingredients: 16 oz Lager, 1.5 oz Tequila

Ingredients

• 16 oz Lager or Pilsner Beer
• 1.5 oz Tequila

Instructions

Pour the tequila into a shot glass.

Drop shot glass into the empty beer glass.

Fill beer glass with cold beer.
